Half-life is a war-simulation so the mission is Search and Destroy. I was in the 82nd Airborne Division and play these games to rock-and-roll and practice my urban warfare skills, period. The 3rd505th is a battalion whose purpose is to go into battle right behind the Rangers and in a real war would have about 50% casualties! I volunteered for this so you can see that I take this "game" seriously. Defend the flag, women, & children and all that stuff. Email me if you are or were in the 3rd/505th and tell me what you think. ====================================================================== How to get started ====================================================================== You know: unzip it into your halflife/ valve/ maps directly and type "map 3rd505th" at the drop-down console. ====================================================================== ====================================================================== Known bugs ====================================================================== * Minor Bugs * Only one I know of is the ladder by the pool looks screwy when viewed from a distance. The handgrenades and M203 grenades are so constant and pervasive that you really have to be alert. If you try to "cowboy" the level you will probably die about 1/3 to 1/2 the time. The only guaranteed way to survive is to slowly and methodically pick-off one enemy at a time using the smartest weapon choice. I get killed in it and I designed it! ====================================================================== * Copyright/Permissions * By downloading and installing "3rd505th" you are forced to abide to the following rules: Copyright : All files related to "3rd505th" are copyright (c) of Jim Donovan, 1999.
