Fathom 2.4

This set of four maps was made for the TWHL competition No. 23 "Water"

As I prefer my maps to have a story rather than just be about the level, I have created Fathom 2.4. Based on the movie "Deep Blue Sea", this Minimod is set on a remote floating base with much of the facility underwater. The base, once a military submarine refueling station, is now a genetic research lab. This base does tests on sharks to discover how their bodies reproduce cells. As they researched, they began to do experiments on some of these sharks, the result being a faster, smarter predator. You play a scientist who is one of the last to be evacuated from the base as a hurricane has caused extensive damage to the hull and water is now leaking into the lower levels. As the rescue chopper approaches, a strong gust of wind blows the chopper off course into a nearby stack of barrels causing a massive explosion. You and one of your partners are unscathed but the security guard was knocked off the catwalk into the shark infested water-pit. Your mission: Make contact with the outside world and find a way off the doomed base!

Minor bugs. Chopper sequence may not work correctly every time because Apache's are hard to predict. Works 90% of the time.

There are NO autosaves so save often. I tested it several times and kept forgetting to save it and it will get annoying if you have to sit through computer scenes twice.

Some people may have problems running the third map on a slow machine. Again, in the words so well put by Rimrook, the R_speeds R_crap on level 3 and a touch on level 1.

I put in a great deal of effort into this game. If I had more time it would be better but I only just made the deadline. Please read the Credits.txt so you know where I got all the cool stuff from. Enjoy!

Use the files as you want but maps are mine. Leave them alone. The splash and SUB Logo are also not available to be used, SO DON'T! If you do use any models, sky, ect from this mod, give the author proper credit please, they deserve it if you're using their stuff.
