Designer's Notes

I was impressed in Quake 2 by maps like Beta2DM that sported a
large arena style atmosphere. The action was always furious and
the frag counts high. My hopes with this map was to create some-
thing similiar that would work for Half-Life. I feel that I have
accomplished this and I'm sure all arena loving players will get
a kick out of this one. The one thing that I did not get to do as
planned was I intended to use the desert2 sky which looked much
better but caused errors in software mode. Since I wanted everyone
to have a chance to play it, I changed to a sky that would not
generate the same error. As I am one who's aim is to please the
audience, I would eagerly accept feedback in regards to this map
at bd_blight@hotmail.com. Look for more maps to be generated by
myself and by other members of our clan, The Brothers Disgruntled.

Installation

To play this level, extract the file "bdarena.bsp" into
your sierra\half-life\valve\maps directory and then start the game.
Start a deathmatch server and type "map bdarena" or "changelevel
bdarena" in the console.

BBS, CD-ROM, compilation disk) as long as it maintains the
name bdarena.BSP and is supplied in a zip file called 
bdarena.ZIP that also contains this text document and no other 
files.

making medium, including but not limited to "Public Domain"
collections or archives, the publisher / manufacturer must
send me a copy of the product.
